Meeting Outlines
Put together two meeting outlines (one Holiness and one Praise meeting) centered on themes of your choice. For each meeting you should include:
a songs from The Songbook of The Salvation Army
a a Scripture
a Special Music
a a Praise and Worship set (3 or 4 songs)
a Sermon title.
All of the above should fit the theme you have chosen for that meeting.
You should also:
a Indicate who is providing the special music, giving the title of the piece and in what Army publication it can be found.
a Provide tune numbers and indicate who is providing the accompaniment (band/piano etc.)
a Provide alternative tune suggestions using the Metrical Index.
a Suggest at least two alternative accompaniments to the band/piano (CD, midi, guitar etc.)
This assignment constitutes 30% of your final grade.
This assignment is due by Friday, November 10th.
Late assignments will be docked 5% for each day late, up to a maximum deduction of 20%. Assignments not turned in by Tuesday, November 14th will not be accepted and will count for zero points.
