Worship Journal
You are to hand in a Worship Journal in which you should comment on the Worship in Chapel, giving particular attention to the occasions that your Worship Team is used and in particular your own individual involvement/contribution.
You should evaluate the worship, determining whether or not it was ‘successful’ and what improvements could be made. Below are some suggested questions for you to consider:
a Overall, how did worship go?
a Was the congregation in full participation?
a Was there a real sense of God’s presence?
a Did the Praise and Worship compliment or detract from the Chapel as a whole? How?
a Was the choice of songs appropriate?
a Did the flow (mood, energy & dynamic level) fit with the Chapel as a whole?
a Did you feel you had worshipped or were you concentrating too much on the music?
a How did you feel your own personal contribution went?
a Did all go as planned?
a Did each team member ‘perform’ to the best of their ability?
a What external factors led to any of the comments on the above (lack of rehearsal etc.)?
This paper is to have one inch margins, be double spaced and use Times Roman font size 12.
Use standard MLA format and include your name.
This assignment is due by Friday, November 10th.
Late assignments will be docked 5% for each day late, up to a maximum deduction of 20%. Assignments not turned in by Tuesday, November 14th will not be accepted and will count for zero points.
